Pendleton Century Farms...

Behind the beauty of the waving fields of grain that cover eastern Oregon are the stories of hardy early farmers. They saw the potential for farming in this wide-open landscape. We celebrate those who founded the farms, and who still farm the same land through their descendents 100 years later, by designating their legacy as Century Farms.

The Rides...

Century Ride of the Centuries will take you past a number of these beautiful farms and ranches rising from Pendleton into the Blue Mountain foothills. You'll travel through the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation where residents with even deeper roots live on lands occupied by their ancestors for thousands of years. You'll have a choice of rides, full century, metric century or half-metric century.

Our signature sponsor, Wildhorse Resort & Casino, will provide the starting point for rides on all three days. At Wildhorse we’ll also spend time at the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute, the museum of the three native tribes who own and operate Wildhorse.  There we’ll learn about the tribes’ culture and history.

WANTED: The "Kamela Card Shark"

The Kamela Card Shark is a lowlife gambler who has hoodwinked and hornswoggled many fine citizens from small towns nearby. Having perfected cardsharking in Vegas, the Kamela Kid arrived in our area with pockets full of aces and dollars. He has cheated at Skip-bo in Stanfield, Go Fish in Meacham, Hearts in Helix, Old Maid in Echo and Strip Poker in the Pendleton Underground Shamrock Card Room. He is known to be lurking near the Wildhorse Casino. CROC Riders, your pokes, bike bags, and “I did Cabbage Hill” patches are NOT safe. If you spot this snake in the grass, this double-dealing scoundrel, report him IMMEDIATELY to your nearest CROC volunteer.
