Cabbage Hill Ride

The CROC Classic: The amazing views of the Pendleton valley and surrounding areas are worth the climb. After the initial climb, the route levels off for a beautiful ride through the Blue Mountain forest to the small town of Meacham. Riders will receive a “CROC” patch at the rest stop at the top of Cabbage Hill, or a year patch for return riders. Be prepared for a possible decrease in temperature while going up the hill if the weather is less than optimal. This route is an  “out-and-back”, so feel free to ride as far, or short, as you like.

  • Ride start, 7:00 – 9:00 am
  • Rest stop at Deadman Pass open 9:00 am – 1:00 pmpic18
  • Ride support ends at 2:30 pm

“Wienie Patch” Option

For those looking for an easier ride and to head out of town earlier, load up your bikes and drive to the Deadman Pass rest stop at the top of Cabbage Hill. Ride from there to Meacham and back.

  • Drive east on I-84 and take exit 228, “Deadman Pass Rest Area”
  • After exiting the freeway, turn left and cross under the freeway to our rest stop.
